This beautiful spot was picked out and especially surveyed for the original developer of Cathedral Mountain Ranch. Here you are protected from the wind, have privacy all around and amazing mountain and valley views from each window! The developer had this log home custom built in 1996, but could not finish it. It just sat there for eight years. In 2004 the present owner bought it and finished it out. He put a cherry floor on the main level and a bamboo floor on the lower level. The main floor has a nice wrap around deck and the lower level also features a covered patio. The present owner is a rock hound and he keeps his tools outside next to the house. There are amazing rocks to be found in the area!

While there is plenty of room to park, if you would like to have a garage - which needs to be attached to the house as per covenants - there is room for it to the south.

Cathedral Mountain Ranch is a 188 acres subdivision with scattered cabins among the hills. The main lodge sits east of the largest of the three lakes and is used for gatherings featuring a game room. The lakes are stocked with fish and you may keep three per day. Or you can go down to the Stillwater River and catch a trout for lunch. The subdivision is gated and the full time caretaker not only watches your cabin when you are gone for a few days, but he also keeps the roads and grounds groomed.

The annual Homeowner Association Fees are about $690 per year, which includes the salary for the ground keeper, water and trash pickup at the dumpster. The water comes from common wells and is piped into each home in the subdivision. Taxes are app. $1,600 since officially there are only two bedrooms in the house.
